Cliff View Cabin

Cliff View Cabin

HageCabin_smallCabin, 4Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)

The Cliff View Cabin sits on what historians call Holy Hill. Back in the early 1900’s all the cabins on the hill were owned by ministers mainly Presbyterian. Even today a lot of the cabins are still owned by the same families, which includes the Hage family, owners of the Cliff View Cabin.
The cabin sits across from the YMCA of the Rockies. It is about two miles from the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, a half mile from the East Portal Trail Head which takes you into the Rocky Mountain National Park. Its about 2.5 miles to downtown Estes Park.
If you enjoy the wildlife, the Cliff View Cabin has a big wrap around porch where you can sit, after a day of hiking, to view the elk and deer and the beautiful mountain views.

This cabin is to be enjoyed year round.

We absolutely loved and enjoyed the cabin. It suited all our needs to a T. Having a handicapped person in our group made this home perfect for her. I don’t believe there was anything missing in the cabin that we didn’t need. Thank you very much.

BEAUTIFUL CABIN!!
Visited the Cliffview Cabin for three nights, January 19-21, 2017, with my wife, mother and father, and a co-worker. My co-worker and I were in Colorado for a training trip to Pueblo, and decided to make a vacation out of it!
For starters, Diana is very easy to work with and super nice! There was a last-minute change that had to be made due to the cabin we had originally booked being unavailable due to snow and icy conditions. The process was super easy, and I’m glad the change was made!
We found the cabin to be super comfortable! The bedrooms and other guest areas are very quaint and charming, and give the cabin a “rustic” feel, even with the modern conveniences. The views from the master bedroom and living room are worth the price of rental, with the unobstructed mountain vistas of Rocky Mountain National Park seemingly outside your door. We were not lucky enough to see any of the area’s wildlife at the cabin, but the high volume of visible tracks tell me that we just missed them!
Estes Park and the surrounding National Park are musts! We enjoyed our time there, and will definitely be visiting again! Hopefully, when we do make it back out the Cliffview Cabin will be available, because we would so very much stay there again!!!

What a beautiful cabin. It is so much bigger and well-appointed than the pictures show. A beautiful home, with plenty of bedrooms for all of us (6 adults, 2 kids). Kitchen was great to cook in, loved the picture window over the sink and counter. Very cold with blowing snow while we were there, but it was cozy inside. Driveway and parking area had been plowed perfectly. We definitely want to return, wouldn’t look anywhere else, frankly. Only issue was the 10 a.m. checkout. We certainly didn’t have a calm Sunday morning trying to get all those people out! But we did! 11 would be so much better. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Good time had by all!

Home Away From Home For The Holiday
We had such an amazing experience at the cabin. Everything was clean and very spacious. The property was close to town so it made it easy for our big group to make it down there and explore, yet also felt secluded and away from it all. The detail of the decor made the space very homey and comfortable for our Christmas stay. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Estes Park.

Great Property
We were very happy with this cabin. The cabin slept 8 comfortably. Great bedrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen and family area were great. Kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed for cooking and there’s a nice grill outside. Everything worked out great. We’d stay here again.

Perfect mountain cabin.
We were very happy with our stay. We were there on the last weekend that allowed fires in the fireplace and took full advantage of that each night. We only brought our grown daughter on this trip but WILL return with our younger children very soon. The Cabin is secluded even though there are neighbors. You could hike right out the door if you wanted. We saw elk, deer and turkey out the large picture window everyday. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Great Property!
The house was perfect for our needs. We were in Estes Park to plan for our daughter’s September wedding at the YMCA Camp, and our location couldn’t have been more convenient. The house was very clean, had Wifi, TV for watching the Olympics, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and elk grazing around the property in the mornings. The covered patio was especially enjoyable. We have rented several properties, and this was one of the best.

We truly enjoyed this cabin. We had six people staying in the cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. The great room is much bigger than the pictures portray. The master bedroom is spacious and beautiful. The other bedrooms with queen beds were very comfortable. The last bedroom had a bunk bed with a twin bed on the bottom, my bed, very comfortable. There is a hide a bed and futon in the living room area. Two double sink bathrooms with tubs and showers. The cottage was exceptionally appointed and beautiful. It had everything we needed and more from needle and thread to a good array of cooking utensils and pots and pans. For you TV lovers, only a few channels and no movies but a selection of music DVD’s. There is a good library with lots of info on Estes. We loved it, great views, very comfortable and roomy. Easy to get to, even in the winter.
