Deer Trail Retreat

Deer Trail Retreat

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)

NEW Listing!!

This Cabin is very private and sets on an acre with rock outcroppings and great views of the Mummy Range, which is part of the Continental Divide. It has a covered porch so you can BBQ in any kind of weather. Also after those long hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park you can come back and relax in the private outdoor hot tub. Inside is very quaint and cozy. The décor is cabin themed with an electric fire place for those cold winter nights and plenty of room to sleep 4 comfortably. It is about 2 miles to downtown Estes Park and about 1.5 miles to the south entrance to RMNP.

*You will need an all wheel drive or 4X4 to get to the property during the months of Oct thru April. The roads are maintained and plowed but if snow or ice is on the road a two wheel drive vehicle will not make it to the property. The property has a large area for parking a travel trailer or RV.

This cabin is to be enjoyed year round.

Excellent

My family and I loved this cabin! It has two decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Includes a washer and dryer and a full size kitchen. The views outside the cabin are absolutely amazing! Location is great too! It is about 5 minutes away from both downtown Estes Park which has tons of cute little shops. In the opposite direction you are about 5 minutes from RMNP! So, you will always have something to do! We stayed here for a week and are already discussing another stay at this location. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Great spot with excellent views
Date of Stay: May 1, 2017
Very clean, and renovated pre-fab “double wide” type structure with nice comfortable renovation. Easy access to all Estes and RMNP have to offer. Enjoyed the private setting while still near town, and the open air hot tub under the stars. Every angle you look from the property inside the home and out on the porch area presents a different grand vista. We were 2, but another couple would have been very comfortable here as well since its a split floorplan both bedrooms have their own bathroom. This cabin will be top of the list of considerations for our next visit.
