O’Deer Cabin

O’Deer Cabin

Entrance to cabin (400x300)Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)

This cabin is one of Estes Parks original built in the early 1800’s. It went through a major face lift bringing it into the 21st century without losing its original charm. It has the orginal river rock fireplace with a wood burning stove insert that you are welcome to use on those cold winter days and in the summer your are welcome to burn dura-flame logs unless there is a fire ban. There is a private outdoor hot tub, flat screen TV’s with satellite, wi-fi, and if that’s not enough you can bring your best friend, the family dog. It has a large fenced in yard and a great view of Longs Peak.

It is only 2 blocks from downtown Estes so no need to fight the parking crowd.

This cabin is very comfortable and you can enjoy it year round.

Great location, well kept, beautiful mountain view!
Great experience, owner communication was clear and congenial. Location was fantastic, felt secluded with the mountain views but was only two blocks from the downtown area. Highly recommended!

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The backyard was huge and fenced, which made having the dogs there more relaxing, since I needn’t worry about them accidentally interacting with deer. And, lots of deer made an appearance. The home itself was very cozy and comfortable.

The best find ever!
We had a wonderful 4night stay at the O’Deer Cabin. Easy access to all that Estes Park has to offer. I never been more relaxed, the beds are comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. The best part was packing, we barley needed anything, this cabin was fully equipped. If you have to travel with a pet this is the place. The whole family had a great stay!!!

We will be back next year!
This cabin was perfect for our family to get away for a few days. The deer and elk hung out in front of the neighbors house every single day! They stayed there for hours, and were only 30 feet from the front door. Shopping, restaurants, and lakes are just a few blocks away, but it was really quiet and relaxing at the cabin. My husband got sick, so we stayed indoors most of the trip. We felt very comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Great Family Vacation
A relaxing, cozy cabin. Very clean and comfortable. The leather couch and recliner were comfy. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and basic cooking items. Enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and sight seeing in Rocky Mountain National Park. Nice to have washer and dryer also. Nice supply of books, puzzles, and games. Liked it was walking distance to many restaurants. Short drive to grocery store. We would definitely return.

A great weekend.
The cabin was very affordable and Very clean and we’ll managed. It was very well stocked-had everything we needed. It was also the cleanest cabin I’ve ever rented. It did not have that musty damp cAbin feel. We were very pleased and look forward to rent this or another of Diana’s properties again.

Great cabin with an excellent location. We were pleasantly surprised by the added touches. Towels by the back door for the hot tub, books, games, and everything we would need in the kitchen. We did not bring our dog but should have. The owners have a doggie bed in the laundry room. There was nothing we were disappointed in. Thanks so much for a wonderful cabin!

Perfect for us!
Our family of 5 (plus 2 dogs) enjoyed our stay at your very clean and comfortable cabin. We loved being so close to town, but still in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the assortment of board games and toys. (Cookie sheets would be a nice addition to the kitchen.) If we return to Estes Park, we will definitely rent this property again!

Very nice cabin!
We stayed in the cabin over spring break this year. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 4 and 6, and our dog). The fenced yard was so nice for the dog (there is also a doggie door!) and the kids loved to play in it too. The hot tub was great for a relaxing time after the kids went to bed. It had sattelite tv, the kids bedroom had a dvd player, and it had all the necessary kitchen utensils and pots and pans that we needed. There was also a box of toys in the closet that were perfect for the kids to play with. The location was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place to stay any time of the year!
Four adults and two small dogs went to Estes for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The cabin was very comfortable and very clean. After snowshoeing in the park one day we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub that evening. When our dogs saw the large fenced in yard they thought they’d hit the Estes Park jackpot as did we. The fact that we could walk into town was another huge plus yet the location of the cabin was very quiet. Highly recommend the O’Deer cabin!

Weekend with the family…
My husband and I have two boys (16 & 11), and a big yellow lab that is also part of our family. We wanted a family weekend since we work during the boys’ spring break. This cabin was suitable for each one of us. Every room was warm and comfortable, the boys slumbered in the living room with the dog since there was carpet throughout, they didn’t even use the 2nd bed. We loved that after shopping in town, hiking through the RMNP and sight seeing; we were able to go back to the comforts of the cabin. The boys loved the wifi/cable options in the evening and the hot tub was a treat. I felt at home with the nice size kitchen & laundry room. Thanks for the doggy bed by the way (nice touch). This is your second cabin that we have rented from you and yet to be dissatisfied. Look forward to the next one.

Worry free vacation
My wife and I, along with our two dogs, stayed in this cozy for four nights. The dogs enjoyed the big back yard and seeing the elk that would roam near the fence. We liked the location of the cabin (able to walk to downtown Estes), all the amenities that it had, the cleanliness of it, and the neighbors that we met. We would definitely like to come back, maybe in the summer, as many restaurants and acitivities were limited due to the season. A Great Vacation indeed!

The home was very clean and we’ll equipped for all of our needs. We had a blast on our girls weekend. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The hot tub felt amazing after hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your home & can’t wait to come back for another visit.

This cabin was just what we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The location was ideal, within walking distance to town, five minutes to a large grocery store. Also, very quiet at night. There were many restaurants close by. We especially enjoyed Mama Rosie’s and The Overlook. The free shuttles running to RMNP were very good. The first day we took one from the visitors center in town and then afterwards we drove to the Bear Lake park & ride lot and took a shuttle from there. There are so many hiking trails that it would take years to take them all in. All of the trails are marked with distances and the Park Rangers were very helpful. The hot tub was a plus to relax in after hiking during the day!
We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this cabin to friends and relatives traveling to Estes Park.

Wonderful wildlife cabin
The cabin has been recently updated with carpet, windows, paint, floor treatments, and was extremely clean. Most all of the kitchen utensils and dishes were available. The large backyard is perfect for a dog and also holds a nice size jacuzzi tub. four of seven days there were Elk either in the yard or the adjoining yard. Twice there were two large bull elk 6×6. The cabin is private even though there are neighbors you wont hardly notice them. It is centrally located for travel all around Estes Park. The cabin made for a very enjoyable home base.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It is a great location and perfect for pets. We rarely can find fenced in areas for our dog to come on vacation with us and this was perfect for him! The newly renovated house was perfect for our small family. The fireplace and hot tub were perfect for the cold winter nights! We will always keep this place in mind for future visits!

Excellent Pet-Friendly Cabin!
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights with our Chocolate Lab puppy. We loved that we did not have to check in or out with a front desk and just simply had to enter the lock box code on the front door. It had a nice little parking area right in front of the cabin. The cabin was remodeled within the last month or so and they did a very good job. The cabin was spotless and very homey and comfortable. The wood burning stove was excellent to have(FYI, bring your own wood) but the heater worked very well on its own as well. It was about 8 degrees outside with a -10 wind chill and we stayed nice and toasty. The backyard was bigger than I expected and was great for the pup. The hot tub was clean and was nice and hot even with the sub-arctic temps and was right outside the back door so you only have to endure the cold for a short time when getting out. The fully-furnished kitchen was great. It was more secluded than I thought it would be even though it only 2 blocks from main street. I would highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again myself!

Vacation that will change how we vacation!!
We had a fantastic time. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we will never stay in a hotel room again when we vacation for a week. It was so nice to have room to move around. Our dog loved watching chipmunks from the floor to cieling window and from the deck! The views are much better in person!!! Hot Tub was fantastic after a day in the mountains or shopping! We were visited by a Bobcat one evening, never did see the neiborhood bear though! Very hard to leave, already planning next visit! location was great, one block to walking trail and short walk to shopping from there along the river!
