Three Peaks Cabin

Three Peaks Cabin

three_peaks_main_smCabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Private Outdoor Hot tub
(Sleeps 6)

This beautiful cabin was custom built by the owner. It is set among other cabins but still has a sense of privacy. It has an out door private Hot Tub, which is located on the little deck to the right of the picture. The master Bedroom with the on suite bathroom has a wonderful deep soaking spa tub.
It has a great deck for BBQing or just to relax and watch the deer and elk who are frequent visitors to the neighborhood. The cabin is far enough off the main road so your children could run around outside and play without any worries. It is about a quarter of a mile to the Big Thompson River and in the other direction about a couple of miles to Mary’s Lake. The south entrance to RMNP is about a 1.5 miles west of the cabin and downtown Estes is about 1.5 miles east of the cabin.

This cabin is to be enjoyed yeat round.

The cabin was just perfect!
The place was ready for us and we were really impressed with the place and the room we had and the separate accommodations for the different families that stayed with us. We felt relaxed and had a great vacation partly due to this cabin. THANKS!

Excellent House for Hikers
While I have many good things to say about this property the #1 thing is that it is extremely close to the RMNP entrance. If you’re like our group and just can’t get up and out the door at the crack of dawn, being close to the park and not having to drive through town counts a lot for being able to get to trailheads while there’s still parking available and so you can avoid having to ride the shuttle busses. Grocery store, deli, ice cream, liquor store, gas station all about a 3 minute walk from the house.
While the house doesn’t have a/c, even staying there in August we found that wasn’t a problem in the evenings after opening up various screened windows on the 1st and 2nd floors and running a couple portable fans that were provided. We got rained on one day and put boots and jackets in the laundry room where the water heater is and things dried out pretty well overnight…keep that door closed so the upstairs doesn’t heat up.
The kitchen had everything we needed for fixing meals except several of the pans there could stand to be replaced and we needed a big pot for boiling pasta and the only thing available was the bottom of a double boiler. The ice maker and water dispenser were not working due to no water hooked up on what looked like a pretty new fridge, so maybe the owner just hasn’t gotten to it yet. Range, crock pot, coffee maker, toaster, etc. all ok. Microwave over the range was not working but a separate one was provided on the side. Plenty of utensils and all the other usual kitchen cookware.
Kids had no problem connecting their game consoles in the downstairs living room. Wifi was good although the house router was 2.4 gHz only and my scanner showed 12+ other 2.4 nets nearby all fighting each other…for best results with modern devices I suggest you bring your own 5 gHz router to plug into the house router.
Master bedroom upstairs is *huge*, even with a king bed and a futon. Hot tub outside was great and when it was raining the jetted tub in master bath was an awesome alternative. Quite nice relaxing up there with the windows cracked open at the end of a long day on the trails.
The area is very quiet at night. Only heard a few coyotes barking and yelping somewhere. We all agreed we preferred staying a short ways out of town and would love to stay here again next time.

Family fun
The house was immaculately clean and the views were excellent. The daily visits of the mule Deer and elk were excellent. Add the chipmunks, ground squirrel colony and the birds for a great relaxing time with my family.

Great Cabin near Rocky Mountain National Park entrance
Our family stayed here in late April / early May 2017 and enjoyed that the bedrooms were spread out from top and bottom floor. The kitchen was very nicely updated and the heated floors were very welcome. The hot tub was working great and easy to use, which was much welcomed after a day of hiking.
We would absolutely stay here again!

This cabin was perfect for our quilting retreat. The rooms were large and sunny with great windows.
Our group had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. It was close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park.
We found the rooms to be spacious with great lighting. Parking was a breeze and convenient for unloading our quilting supplies, food, and luggage.
All was great!

Fantastic cabin!
We had a nice weekend and really enjoyed this cabin! We don’t know for certain but we were pretty sure the kitchen floor is a heated tile floor….enjoyed that very much! The master bedroom and bath was amazing!! My kids enjoyed the hot tub and had a lot of fun. I would have given the cabin a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the placement of the hot tub. It’s on the side deck which is ok except the only way to get to it is to either go through the bedroom next to it or to go outside and walk around the house (which isn’t a fun option when there is snow on the ground). Overall the cabin was nice and clean. We would stay here again!!!

Neat, Spacious, Private Hot Tub
We stayed here August 2016. This place was very neat, clean, and spacious. We really enjoyed the jetted hut tub located on the side deck of the house surrounded by two sides of tall privacy fence, third side was the house, and fourth side open towards the valley. The large kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans needed for cooking meals at home. The master bed+bath was very spacious with a firm king bed, jetted bath, and rustic décor. Great location in a quiet neighborhood – within five minutes to the main entrance of RMNP and downtown Estes Park. We saw seven wild turkeys and twelve elk walk through the front yard.
Very well managed property and very professional staff.

Great home, great location
Our family of four (kids 7 & 9) stayed here July 2015. This place was great – honestly it was a little bigger than we needed. Everything was as described. It was nice after a morning of hiking to soak in the hot tub. It was also great to have a washer and dryer on site so we didn’t have to pack so many clothes, and so that when we returned from our vacation, we didn’t have a lot of laundry waiting for us when we got home. The location is perfect – right outside RMNP gates and close to good eating like Smokin Dave’s and Baba’s Burgers. If you want to pack a picnic lunch for a hike, you can hit up the Country Market on the corner for sandwiches. Pretty sure a bear tried to get into the trash overnight and knocked down the bear proof trash can – there was a muddy print on the side of the trashcan. One last thing, coming from Oklahoma, I was a little nervous about no air conditioning in July. But it really wasn’t a big deal. We opened the windows in the evening and it was fine.

Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife, 5 kids and myself stayed in this cabin and we had a wonderful time. The cabin had everything we needed. As well as plenty of space for my family and myself. Estes Park is absolutely beautiful, the people are extremely nice. We seen plenty of wildlife all over the town and the mountains were literally 5 mins from the cabin. I would definitely go back to this cabin and the beautiful town.

Excellent house for Rocky Mountain National Park
My family very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s only about a mile from the park entrance and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Lot’s of room to spread out, and the hot tub provided an excellent means of soothing tired bodies after some long hikes. The house was very clean and well-equipped. I have two very very minor suggestions for the owner: 1) The kitchen could use some new Teflon cooking utensils for say boiling spaghetti. 2) The outside grounds could be spruced up a bit. These very minor issues were the only things I found lacking in what was otherwise a perfect stay. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are not to be missed, and the area is great for a family vacation.

Three Peaks Cabin
My boyfriend and our three friends rented this beautiful cabin for a short vacation. We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we got there, but when we did we were very pleased. It was everything the pictures had to offer and more. The kitchen and the hot tub was definitely used the most. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The cabin was also in a great location. We were able to get to all of our destinations in a timely matter. I strongly suggest renting this cabin if you are looking for a little time to get away. It was a relaxing stay! We had no troubles with finding the place, or with the owners. All in all a great place!!

Relaxing 2nd Anniversary/late Honeymoon at the beautiful 3 Peaks Cabin
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for our 2nd wedding Anniversary which also doubled as our late honeymoon. The house is gorgeous with beautiful woodwork throughout house. The natural lighting makes for a great living experience connected to the mountain scenery! Master bedroom and bath were even better than the photos appeared on website! Dream kitchen well eqipped. Hot tub was the best amenity! Location is great, easy access to downtown and RMNP and camping rental shops. Within walking distance of Mary’s lake. We highly recommend the 3 Peaks cabin, especially for those interested in romantic getaways with lots of local activities and restaurants in Estes! The property management and booking process was phenomenal. We are definitely going back as soon as we can! Check it out!

Cozy cabin nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains
My husband and I stayed here last month and absolutely adored this cabin. We loved the closeness to the rocky mountain national park. There were elk and deer right out side the bedroom window in the mornings, very cool! The hot tub was a bonus after a long day of snow shoeing, as people mentioned before in previous posts about the hot tub not working, probably because they were not pushing the correct buttons on the tub to turn on the jets. The management were really great to work with as well. Highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Perfect vacation
I came here with my boyfriend and our three friends and it was more than anything we expected. The first thing we did was got straight into the hot tub which was enjoyed many other times again after hiking. The kitchen is large and fully stocked which was perfect for the nights we cooked a big dinner. We saw deer, elk, and wild turkey right in the back yard which was an added treat to the stay. The management was very helpful and the cabin was so clean and tidy. I’m very impressed and recommend it to everyone. I hope to come back next year!

Kansas party of 6
This home was all that it was advertised to be. The house was quite large, very clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. The location was ideal, as it was just minutes to the RMNP entrance and to town. There was plenty of room to gather and play games, and for us, to watch the Olympics each evening. The beds were comfortable and the master was equipped with a ‘sleep number’ bed. They have also added a nice futon in the master for further accomodations. Nearby activities are endless – mini-golf, the big slide, the tramway, shopping, hiking, For nearby hiking – we recommend the trek to Calypso Cascades in the Wild Basin area and for an easy, beautiful stroll,- don’t miss Lilly Lake-less crowded after 6 p.m. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at Smokin Dave’s BBQ – but try to get there before 5:30 to lesson the wait. We would definately stay here again.
